How we teach
1. Scan and submit
Before every lesson, students scan and submit their homework, which is then marked by a tutor.
This ensures lesson time is dedicated to addressing areas of weakness identified by the tutor.
2. Lesson time
With work already marked, students can make the most of their lesson time.
They should anticipate being challenged by their tutors whilst reviewing the content they find most challenging.
3. Homework
After every lesson, students are given relevant homework, a crucial step for advancing and solidifying their understanding.
Students are offered free supervised study sessions to guarantee the completion of their homework.
4. Supervised study
Free additional study sessions take place weekly, providing dedicated time for completing homework and aiding enthusiastic students in structuring their independent revision.
5. Progress report
Weekly reports are sent highlighting whether homework has been completed to a good standard and are accompanied by termly reports that indicate whether a student is on track to meet their target grades.
